FIXED TERM FULL TIME CLASS TEACHER

The Headteacher and Governors of Ireleth St Peter's CofE Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, well-organised, committed and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly, hard-working team. In the first instance, this position will be a fixed term post running from 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2018 when upon a review of class structures and our increasing pupil numbers, the position then has the potential to become permanent.
The successful candidate will have a responsibility for our Early Years and Key Stage One class on a full time basis. Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 Phonic Screening and End of Key Stage 1 assessments is essential.
As a Church of England Primary School, we have a distinct Christian ethos and strong links with the local Church and community. Ireleth St Peter's is a unique and very special school which is renowned for its family feel and community involvement. Set in beautiful surroundings, looking over the Duddon Estuary, we are very fortunate to be well-resourced and have a wonderful school building with fantastic outdoor spaces; including an outdoor classroom.
