Our school has enjoyed links with St Peter’s church in Ireleth for many years. All members of our school community, children, adults and family members enjoy participating in special school services and events throughout the school year.

We will resume visits to St Peter's Church at various times during the year to celebrate and remember keys events in the Christian calendar. Family members of our school community are warmly invited to join us at church.
These will be held on the following dates at St Peter’s Church, Ireleth:

Harvest- Tuesday 28th September at 9.30am
Christingle- Sunday 12th December at 4pm
School Christmas Service- Wednesday 16th December at 9.30am

Harvest Service:

In September we held our harvest service, which was the first church service of the year, led by Reverend Canon Ruth Crossley.

The whole school had a wonderful time, coming together as a whole community to worship and be thankful for all that we have. It was wonderful to welcome so many family members to our church service, sing together and to see the contribution that each class made to participate and take ownership of worship. The children were able to show their understanding of how our Christian values can be put into practice. The donations made from our School and Church community were extremely generous, with 138kg of food donated which was equivalent to 314 meals!

Our Vision

At Ireleth St Peter’s, through values rooted in Christian teaching, our community nurtures and enables positive foundations for life. Our distinct Christian ethos permeates throughout ISP.

Working together in successful partnership, our school family embraces the common goal of inspiring every child to reach their fullest potential, through God’s love.
